In my opinion, one of the elements of a good movie is music. (and songs as well) There are many good and euphonic songs, musics in the movie. Musics were done by Alan Silvestri. Huey Lewis and The News were created the theme songs of the movie both Back to the Future 1 and 2, which are called “The Power of Love” and “Back in Time”. Besides, Huey Lewis cameoed as the school teacher who dismisses Marty’s band for being too loud music.

“The Wallflower” also known as “Dance with me Henry” recorded by Etta James and it is played in the cafe scene in the Back to the Future Part 1.

I think , another good music from the movie BTTF1 is “Night Train” which is classical blues US instrumental music and first recorded by Jimmy Forrest in 1951. It is played by the band “Marvin Berry and the Starlighters” at the high school “Enchantment Under the Sea” dance party.

“Earth Angel” (Will You Be Mine) is an American *Doo Wop song, originally released by The Penguins in 1954.
In Back to the Future, “Marvin Berry and the Starlighters” played the song with Marty(M.J.Fox) during the “Enchantment Under the Sea” high-school dance. Due to the time-travelling plot of the films, this scene was “replayed” in Back to the Future Part II.

And Johnny B.Goode is a famous Rock n Roll song by legend musician Chuck Berry. Marty McFly and the Starlighters performed at the same high school dance party, after the bands guitarist Marvin Berry injured his hand. Marvin calls his cousin Chuck, who listens in on “the new sound [he’s] been looking for”.

*Doo Wop : Doo-wop is a style of vocal-based rhythm and blues music, which developed in African-American communities in the 1940’s and which achieved mainstream popularity in the 1950’s and 1960’s. An African-American vocal style known as doo-wop emerged from the streets of northeastern and industrial midwest cities such as New York, Philadelphia, Chicago, Baltimore and Pittsburgh. With its smooth, consonant vocal harmonies, doo-wop was one of the most mainstream, pop-oriented R&B styles of the 1950’s and 1960’s.
